TouchDesigner Specialist — Immersive/Interactive Installation

 

We are an AV and immersive-experience integrator headquartered in Amman, Jordan, with delivery across Iraq and Saudi Arabia. We are commissioning a large permanent immersive projection hall and are looking for an experienced TouchDesigner developer to help configure it on site and bring our in-house team up to speed.

The project, in general terms

• Permanent cylindrical projection hall — wall and floor surfaces, multi-projector, edge-blended and warped as a single continuous canvas
• Clustered media-server playback with spatial audio locked to timecode
• Show control from a wall/tablet interface, operated daily by non-technical venue staff
• A later phase adds a sensor-driven interactive layer (LiDAR-based audience tracking) on top of the same TouchDesigner environment

Scope of the engagement

• Review and harden our existing in-house TouchDesigner build: network architecture, project structure, naming, performance headroom
• Configure playback, mapping and show-control logic against the installed projector array and calibration/blending toolchain
• Integrate timeline sync between video, spatial audio and lighting/show triggers
• Build a reliable startup/shutdown and failure-recovery path — this is a venue that opens every morning without an engineer present
• Advise on architecture for the interactive phase so the current build does not have to be thrown away
• On-site configuration and commissioning support in Amman, alongside our integration team
• Structured training and handover for our in-house technicians and developer — walkthroughs, documented conventions, and a maintenance runbook they can actually follow

What we are looking for

• Demonstrable TouchDesigner work in permanent installations and/or large-scale immersive environments — domes, 360° rooms, projection-mapped spaces
• Experience with sensor-based interaction (LiDAR, depth cameras, tracking pipelines) — strong advantage
• Notch, Unreal or Unity alongside TouchDesigner — useful, not required
• Able to travel to Jordan for on-site blocks
